Girl's Weekend Packing

After waiting all year long the "Girl's Weekend" had finally arrived. There is nothing better than getting together with your lifelong pals and relaxing by the lake. Our group is very fortunate to have a friend with a cabin and the graciousness to entertain a group of six. The dilemma is always what to bring? Because this is not my first time, I was smart enough to know we would be very, very casual. Comfort is key and fancy is just not necessary. There is lots of sitting around, drinking, eating and boating. I threw together a few outfits that would last all day, and a bonus outfit for if it became chilly. You can not count on warm weather in the Midwest, even in July. Because I am a serial over packer, I will feature some of the other outfits I brought that I did not wear later in the week.

Navy and white always work and mix and match well with most items. I have featured a Ralph Lauren tankini, with a Tory Burch tunic as a cover-up. A second option are some comfy shorts from TJ Maxx. Also included are Ray-Ban Flash Clubmasters, Havanas, my favorite J Crew bracelet, and a men's fedora hat.

A second swimsuit option including a Ralph Lauren Tankini, James Perse Cover-up, Ray-Ban Aviators, the J Crew Bracelet, J Crew Eyelet Hat and Joie a la Plage sandals.

For the not so warm moments, Gap Boyfriend white jeans, the J Crew eyelet hat, Wildfox message sweat shirt, Ray-Ban aviators and some Nike kicks.
